Hello fellas!!
These past days have been amazing, having delicious meals, celebrating the pre-Christmas eve in la Puerta del Sol, doing lots of shopping and of course having great time with my friends, those from the IB and from the UC3M. With these last I have a cool anecdote to share with you, today we went to have a coffee after lunch in a cafeteria, by the time we wanna leave, the waitress ask us if we wanted some free Churros con Chocolate, and later she offered us bocadillos and tortilla de papatas, isn't she nice?
Today is the very last day of the year 2010 ! a year full of adventures, trips, remarkable moment, and full of changes.
I haven't changed myself indeed, but I did change a little bit my life, I packed my stuff and moved to Ljubljana for an exchange student programme for the whole academic year (get ready Ljubljana coz Milo is coming back in a few days!!), where I met lots of very nice people from Spain, Europe and the rest of the world. Thank to you I have learned mor about your culture, about your traditions, I am so glad that you are part of my life, a part of my transition trough life.
I want to thank also for the amazing Slovene friends I made in Ljubljana, and for making me feel that I am part of your country and culture, I'll try this upcoming year to learn more of your language, coz it's freaking difficult!!
Anyway, I could stay the whole evening telling you about how amazing this year was, but that would be too boring, even for me.
To end up this last post of the year, I wish you all have a wonderful 2011, a year full of happiness and amazing adventures.
HAPPY NEW YEAR !
Srečno Leto 2011!
Bonne année 2011!

Living la vida with sun in Madrid
Hello fellas!!
Left Ljubljana for almost 1 week already, and I am kinda missing it, but I am also having lots of fun here in Madrid.
As I said in the previous post, right after I arrived to Madrid, I inmediately gathered with IB friends, on the following day more tapas dinner in El Olibo with the people from uni, with whom we organized a 'secret santa'. Lovely evening I must say, nice dinner, cool presents and the perfect company.
The next day I was supposed to meet more friends from uni, but I apologize for not being able to attend, (I was so sick..), but now I am fine and ready to keep partying!!
This leads me to talk about Christmas eve, well, having already celebrating the venue for 21 years already, it seems to me that is another regular day, I mean, still special coz I can meet all my friends and family. and have alltoguether a huge dinner with tons of delicatessen, entrées, sushi etc... but it stills one more day.
hmmm... what else can I say... well I remember going out that morning to do some x'mas shopping, which I really enjoyed btw, among all the presents bought, I also got some pretty thing for myslef. lol
As I was saying, beside of the amazing dinner, I didn't do anything else, just some chitchatting and playing some boardgames.
During the next day, that is the 25th, me and my parents went out for lunch with some far far really far relatives that happend to be in Madrid... so we had lunch with them, and pretty much that for that morning..
But the evening, well, that was much more fun, I was going to meet Alfonso, Laura and Jaime, the funny part is that I've never seen them before in town, but in Slovenia, so it was kinda good strange feeling meeting here in Madrid, even being all of us Madrilians.
And guess what we did, walked around the Plaza Mayor and go to have some sangria and tapas.
This is all I've been doing these past days.
Allow me to say a few more words, I wish u had a lovely Christmas with all your friends and family, and hope you have a fantastic new year's eve and the best for this upcoming 2011.

The odyssey of travel from Ljubljana to Madrid
It is time to say goodbye to Ljubljana for 2010 and spend the rest of the year in Madrid.
The fact itself it's not interesting, but how long was the travelling deserves a blog post.
After the fantastic weekend, partying, chatting, and drinking homw made kuhano vino.. yess!! We made Kuhano Vino ourselfs for the first time with red wine and some prepared flavour, it tasted quite well, and our Anja also liked it, so we can confirm that wasn't bad at all, next time we'll make it even better.
What I was saying, that night I didn't sleep enough coz the next day I had class.adding the fact that during the trip I didn't sleep either I arrived to Madrid with only 8 hours of sleep in 2 days, fever and coughing like hell, and I'll explain why,,,
On Monday night I decided to not to sleep till the departure of the train to Monfalcone, but instead go to Parlament Pub and party the last time in Ljubljana, by 1:30 we went to have the last mesni burek of the year (at least for me) and then head to the central station. The train departed at 2:28 sharp, but due to some techinical porblems during the journey, it stopped several times, but not big deal, we arrived to Monfalcone 20 minutes later than stipulated. Later on we cought a bus to Trieste airport from the city (after walking like 15 minutes...). Since out plane was scheduled for 9:10, and we arrived there around 7 ,we decided to go and grab some breakfast till it was time to board
For the 2 hours travel from Trieste to Valencia I slept like half of the way, coz you know how annoying is Ryanair with its advertisement at high volume during the travel...
So 2 hours of plane, and tadaaa!!! we finally got to our homeland Spain!! but for some of us ti was the final point of travel, but for the rest (aka me and 2 others) had to stay few more hours to catch the next flight, for me to Madrid. While waiting I managed get some sleep, but due to the hard seats fo the airport I couldn't sleep much, so I turned on the laptop and watched some episodes of TBBT.
Around 4pm my flight took off and after 1 hour landed finally in Madrid, where my lovely mom was waiting for me.
By know u can imagine why I didn't sleep that much on my way home, but that doesn't matter even I was hell tired, I went at 9:00pm to Sol where I was going to meet my long time friends for dinner and do some chit chatting like we are used to...
For those who were wondering If I am feeling better, yess indeed! I woke up this morning feeling terrific, thanks to the drugs and 10 hours of sleep... lol

Celebrating the 21st birthday in Ljubljana
Regarding the title of the post, u may imagine what's the post about.. yeahh this is the celebration of my 21st B'day...
I can't thank u enough for being such good friends and thanks for the fantastic 2 days celebration!!
Despite of the inconvenience of moving from restaurant to restaurant because none of them accepts reservation during these days, so after 3 shots, we end up finding a Thai restaurant in Rimska Cesta (Thai Inn Pub), which the food wasn't that good.., but with the simple company of all of you was enough..
but it also happened a irregular thing, it turned out that in the restaurant there was going to be a karaoke night, so instead of going to Companeros right after dinner, we stayed in there to sing a couple of songs, like 'Umbrella' with Eva, Hajde Da Ludujemo with Miha, Anja and Claudia, and a couple of more songs with Marte and Alfonso, among others.
What was really fun is that I was singing a Croatian song, and some Serbians got so surprised that they end up inviting me to some Rakia shots... imagine how was I after that...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRa-GmoAnfM, does this song sound familiar to u Alfonso ? grande grande ehhh!!
Well, after a couple of drinks and more singing, we left and head to Companeros, what can I say about it... it is always a great place to party, as usual, we received free tequila shots from Anja.
Dancing our souls out till 4am or smthg, but we decided to go back home coz we've been out the whole day... (yeahh we had class in the morning and then we went almost straight to party party!! )
The next day, it was the official b'day date (17th of December), which is the same date as Edu, so depsite of the little hang over, we 3 went to have lunch in Emonska, and later on we went to eat a home made cake by Adri y Rosi, really yummy btw.
The rest of the evening was quite relaxing, went to BTC, did some shopping and bought the stuff to make Kuhano Vino..
After that we went to have some beers with Andres and Adrian, and later on we end up in Orto Bar, where the music is always good, at least for me (Indie session on Friday nights, this is for u Draisis, if u ever come to LJU , this is a must place to go!). 'Rollo desgarbado pero elegante con un toque vintage'
We didn't stay long, some of us were tired, we started partying from Wednesday, so we went back home, with all the snow falling. to Rozna Dolina coz there weren't any metro taxis in the city... at least not free ones.. (my jeans ended up frozen, yess forzen, coz of the snow and the coldness..)
Well, as long as I can remember, this was all, again, thank u so much for the fantastic bday. It would not have been the same without u guys!
Thanks again, Hvala Lepa!! vi ste najboljši !!

Študentski Domovi, a regular day in the Student Dorm in Ljubljana
The week has passed really fast, without noticing I stayed here in Ljubljana already for 3 months!! well , by now 3 months and 1 day.. amazing experience afterall, but I've realized 2day that I haven't really talked about anything about the residence, how does the residence in Ljubljana I am staying looks like and stuff..
Študentski domovi |
Well I have said in previous entries, I've changed the dorm once, thanks to Miha.. I can't really thank u enough for the change, I couldn't imagine my life living in the dorm 9... mainly becouse of the room mate I had..
As I was saying, I am living in the block 14, it's a little bit different form the other blocks, mainly because I don't have to share with the rest of the students the kitchen and the bathroom, state that I wouldn't have mind living like that, but now that I am used to this, thinking of something else it's unimaginable..
Block 14 |
Beside of that it's quite simple student dorm, shared "apartment" with two double rooms, and all my 3 room mates are Slovene, this is a quite improtant fact, since they are not from Ljubljana, they go back to their respective hometowns during the wekeends, so 2 days a week it's like living alone, enough time to find myself. Not that they bothered me, but from time to time it is good to be alone to find inner peace.
Also an advantge to live here is that we have a mini living room, and by mini I say 3 meters square, and by living room I mean cubicle stick to kitchen with a table to sit in...even tough this is good for me because Alfonso, Rosi and me gathere here from time to time to have dinner and play cards, eat some 'tostas con jamón', or just simply have a 'piscolabis' while we sit and chat..
Well, I can not say anything else form this mini-home of mine.. I don't spend much time here, I simply go out whenever a plan shows up.. but after all, I can sey here, that this has been my lovely home for the past 2 months and will be until the end of my stay..
Outdoor sports field |
Block 13 |
And talkin about the block , why don't say a couple of things more about the whole student campus, with 14 blocks, a main rstaurant, where u can also eat with student coupons, a sports centre and some other stuff..

Crepes, Kuhano Vino, People, Tree : Christmas in Ljubljana
I know that winter hasn't officially started yet, but as in all the cities acorss the globe and around this time of the year are already decorated with X'mas lights, food stands and so on, and Ljubljana wasn't goin to be less.
The city is full of X'mas light, some tradicitional tucky ones, but also some with Science theme, like Chromosomes, ADN chain and stuff, I think related to some EU issues.. not sure really, but it makes them quite special and different.
There is also a huge X'mas tree in the main square, also very beautiful.
Last Saturday or was it on Sunday? I don't remember which was it, was the official X'mas switch on of the lights, so we gathered in Preseren Square to see the event, I won't usually do that in Madrid, but that is why I am here in Lju right? to do different stuff. The event itself wasn't very special, but watching the city center crowded and full of life it reminded me to Madrid and felt a little bit homesick, but it was just a moment of weakness, afterall I will be back home in a couple of weeks.
About the the stands I've just told about, they sell the typical x'mas food, pretzels, sweets, some handcrafts and winter-themed souvenirs, there is also one popular beverage here called Kuhano Vino, literally cooked wine, this is hot red or white wine with a slight flavour of plums and a touch of cinnamon, I was reluctant to try it at first.. C'mon it's hot wine!! But it didn't up bad when I tried it, actually I am kinda liking it.. And it really helps to keep the body warm with temperatures below 0 during the evening..

4th International Student's Footbal Match 2010
This past Saturday the SOU organized the 4th Internatioanl Students Football Match.
I think I don't have to explain what's the event about, but all the people who know a little bit of me might be wondering why the hell am I participating in a football match, since I am a total a total dull at sports, not that I don't like it at all, but to be honest, I totally suck..
Anyway, I tought that paticipating mught be a good experience, and indeed it was a great one!
Me, Alfonso, Andres, Pablo and Javi were the team named Isotopes, we played against the Portuguese and the a multinational team. What ca I say, we played really hard, alotugh we lost both matches, we didn't feel bad with the results, we did what we could, we played very good against both teams. They end up pretty exhausting, so did we.
We also played a third match against the SOU team disputing the last 3 places in the ranking. Depsite of being tired already of the previous games, we handle ourselfs and we won 2-1, gols scored by me and Pablo, and thanks to the perfect game and support of Alfonso and our great goalkeeper Andres.
After the games we headed back to Rozna to rest a little while, and even taking a nap afterwards, my body is hurting me like some beat me up... it's part of the deal, isn't it?
I feel bad of not having any pictures of the match, but I can ensure you it was a fantastic day!!!
Thank you guys!! I hope we can play football again soon!

December has officially arrived..
Well well well,
3 more weeks and I am back home for X'mas break, what can I say... these months have been amazing here in Ljubljana, I think I have said it before, going on Erasmus is one of the best decisions I have ever made, it is sad to leave all my life temporary from Madrid, my friends, my classmates, but I can stay there forever, and the people who really know me know that.
Anyway, I am not here to bore you with my life, but tell u how great it is.. nah, just kidding.
I haven't changed my lifestyle at all, but the cold weather here, plus the free time, I realized that I am doing much more here in Ljubljana than back in Madrid. I almost go out every day, whether to dinner, party, or just hang out with my friends in the dorms. I have to be honest, I am joing any plan that comes up, otherwise I will just stay at home and do nothing, well watch tv series for instance, but that's not cool, at least not for every single day.
Plus the cold is hitting really hard.. and if I don't do anything I will just stuck at home bored like hell...

First snowy day in Ljubljana
26th of November, one more Friday going to Business Environment class after sleeping 4 hours bcoz of partying the night before in Compañeros as usual.
This Friday would have been like any other day, but no!! It wasn't already because by mistake I set up the alarm one hour 2 hours before class believing the class started at 9 am... so I arrived one hour early to the uni... so lame really. Beside that it was quite usual.
Way after we started doing our Smoothie project, it started to snow for the first time in Ljubjana, there was such much snow that I was able to start a snow ball figth after class, so imagine the quantity that fell...
First moments of snow |
The Smoothie project |
I was very excited during the very first moments enjoying the snowy day, but it's already annoying a little, so much snow!!but anyway, I have to change my mind if I want to survive here in Slovenia with 3 more months of heavy snowed city...
Judge yourself by the picture, this is only the first day, how is it going to be in the coldest days...?
Update: it's snowing again....
Update2: this is our final Smoothie project http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERZOQKxYIxA

Erasmus Road Trip: destination Austria
Hello fellas!!
It's been a long week since I last updated the blog, but today I feel inspire, lets be honest, and a little bit bored too.. lol
Well I went on this trip couple of weeks ago, exactly from the 29th of October til the 1st of November.
We visited first Graz, very nice city btw. judge urself. Small and cozy, we didn't spend much time in the city, but we did enjoy it, having snichtel for lunch (is that correct Elvisss?), and walkind around the city. really lovely, and sunny weather did help a lot!!
We also walked up to the Schloßberg, where we saw the Clock Tower and Platz der Ehrenamtlichen (so difficult to write!!), among other stuff.
After half day in Graz we went on our way to Vienna, (so sad I couldn't see Elvis, nor Juan or Maria).
We stayed in Vienna for 3 days, very nice city, people (I lost my iPhone in the hostel hall but an angel handed it to the reception) and the food, yammy, Vienesse style steak, and the Hotel Sacher's chocolate cake!!
During these day we walked quite a lot, visiting palaces, museums and enjoying the Vienese way of living! Like riding the metro (I missed u so much.. but I like Madrid's better) and having a nice cup of cofsee, Starbucks coffee, saving the differences, but I enjoyed more the Stur's coffee coz there are no Starbucks in Ljubljana... so lame!
After having so much fun in the capital of Austria, we took the way back home to LJU through Venice coz we had to drop Rosi's relatives over there, and later on we drove from Venice to LJU.
What a nice weekend I had I must say.

Erasmus Road Trip: destination Zagreb
On the 9th of October, we went to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
WELCOME TO ZAGREB!!
Well the first impression of Zagreb is that is much more bigger than Ljubljana, and I really liked that, coz Ljubljana is quite small. I didn't notice anything special, I mean, the coty is really nice and beautiful, but I already expected that, so I didn't get any surpirses.
You can tell from the picture that is very European, the pic on your left was taken rigth in front of the Crkva sv. Marka aka St. Mark's Church. Pretty isn't it?
The best thing of the trip was obviously the company, it couldn't be any funnier !!
On the way back, nothing special happened, well, on the border to get out Croatia, we stopped like 30 minutes in the customes, I think they were checking my ID meticulously, normal, the were wondering why in the world would a Macanese guy, who was born in Macau, by that time a Portuguese colony, and now is showing a Spanish ID.. I would have doubted too if it was fake or not.. lol
Anyway, we got back to Ljubljana during the evening without incidents, we return the car, and we took a burek, in my case, a mesni burek (meat burek) for dinner.
Afterwards, I went to Anja's bithday party to finish the day.
Again the optiion for travelling was renitng a car, me, Marga, Emilie and Lucile met at 8:00am in Kino Siska to go to take the car we previously booked. So by 9am we started our way to Zagreb!
It took around 2 hours to arrive and park.. nothing spcecial to recall from the way in, I was sleeping as usual.. lolWELCOME TO ZAGREB!!

Trip to Bled, the Waterfalls, and the Unkown Village
25th of September, rainy, very rainy.
We gathered in the parking slot across the Union brewery because the SOU organized a trip for the Erasmus to Bled and Bohinj.
As I said in the previous entry, Bohinj is amazing, but on this day we saw the waterfall in its own capacity, since it was raining like hell, the water flow was really fierce.
Later on we went to Bled, I was kinda bored at the beginning of the trip bcoz I din't knew anybody on the forehand, but I started to talk to this french girl Marga, and imagine how nice she is that is one of my closest friends
Bled beautiful as usual, this pic was actually taken when I went with Marko, Eva and company just after the SiMUN finished. Fantastic place where you can enjoy the lake and the views ftom the castle and taste the Kremma Rezina.
"Que me enrollo como las persianas"I roll up like blinds..
After we went to some close village to enjoy a "medieval" dinner, I quoted medieval coz the only medieval thing was the costume of the waiter.. awful food, but an experience on its own.

Erasmus Road Trip : travelling around Slovenia II
Here I continue with the adentures across Slovenia,
not forgetting to mention that I drove half the way from Celjie to Ljubljana and it was an experience not to enjoy again...
The next day, we took the car, but this time we met a little bit later, and we started the trip to Piran, what can I say about it, you can already see the beauty of the city just looking at the picture next to you.
Piran is in the South-West of Slovenia, near Italy and bordered by the Adriatic Sea, just 2 word, A Mazing.. lol
We almost spend the whole day over there, walk around the city, resitng near to the sea, and walking trough the lovely castle, where I took this pic
As some of you may have noticed, it;s the second time I go there, the first time was with Miha, Dani and Marte.
By the time sunset time, we decided to go back to Ljubljana, spending the whole day walking around and doing tourism is pretty exhausting.. .. what a tough Erasmus life.. !
On Sunday we went to Bohinj, watching the beautiful waterfalls and amazing lake, with crystalin water.
This is not either the first time, because I went there already with an Erasmus organized trip where I met Super Marga, I will talk about this trip later on.
Well this is all about the first big road trip around Slovenia, I hope you've enjoyed watching the entries, but specially the pcitures because I know my writting is like a pain in the ass..
not forgetting to mention that I drove half the way from Celjie to Ljubljana and it was an experience not to enjoy again...

Erasmus Road Trip : travelling around Slovenia I
Hello folks!
Today I am going to talk about the very first big trip during my Erasmus stay.
Alfonso, Edu, Javi, Rosi and I rented a car on Friday 1st of October for 3 days. At the first time I was a little bit worried about if I was going to have fun or not, since I didn't know them that well, but what can I say, now they are my closest Spanish friends here in Ljubljana, and I am really glad I've met them.
Anyway, as I've just said, we met at 8am or smthg like that in the dorm 1 to go all together to the bus station to rent the car.
After dealing with the documents and stuff, we got our car and we started heading to Muska Sobota.
The town has a lovely castle, if we can call it that, no offenses, but we expected a stone-like castle, but it was like a regular not stoned made castle..but it was nice though. It also has a nice church and a WWII conmemorative statue
Murska Sobota is pretty small, so after a smal walk, we took the car to our next stop, and this is Ptuj.
Ptuj is the oldest city is Slovenia, with lots of stoned roads from the Roman times, beautiful houses and a real castle!!
Even tough the rown is very small, it is wonderful !
The next and last stop for the day was Celje, the third largest town in Slovenia, we arrived there around 6pm, and it was already getting dark, so we weren't able to check out the city much, but I realized that it had a lot of hair dressers.. strange haa?

Why choose Ljubljana for Erasmus?
Many of you have wondered and asked me thousand of times why I chose such an unusual place like Ljubljana for Erasmus, and the answer is as simple as it is.
My home university, Carlos III de Madrid, offers a wide range of exchange destination within Europe, and many of them are in hot places like Holland, France, UK, and so on. So.. why Slovenia? Slovenia is located in the Southern part of Central Europe (or Western Balkans some might say), with a capital of about 200.000 people. That is why I chose Ljubljana, a small but cozy city. I wanted to experience how does it feel to live in a small place, where you can mostly walk from place to place or even to take bike.
Another reason is merely personal, I didn't want to go to a place where already tons of students or tourist have been there already, because from Madrid we have plenty of flights to big European capitals, and for very low prices, so I can go anytime for a weekend, but Ljubljana, even if it;s not far, like 2 hours by plane from Madrid, not many people have been here, mainly beacuse is not that well conected by plane.
Now you know the reasons of my Erasmus elections, if the university would have offerd me going to Georgia, Belarus or places like that, take for granted that I would have chosen those destination instead, but well, maybe for future exchange agreements.
In the following lines, for the the future Erasmus students who might consider Ljubljana as their destination, I will explain shortly what are the bureaucracy to deal with when you get here.
Step 1-Check in for the dormitory, in Rozna Dolina, and then choose the dorm that fits u best. (I am staying in Rozna Dolina, close to the city centre, 15 minutes walk)
Step 2- Get your Student Card at the International Office (Kongresni Trg. 12)
Step 3- Have your Certificate of Attendance signed in the same office, one per term, and sent it back to ur home college
Step 4- Go to the SOU, the Students Organization in Kersnikova 4 to do the student discount coupons, they will tell what do u have to do, like buying a Slovenian phone number, register via internet, etc...)
Step 5- Activate your phone for the coupons, et vouila! cheap meals for all the stay, at least 21 or 22 per month
Step 6- Get your resident permit, 2 passport sized photos are required, it's quite expensive to do it here in Ljubljana so bring a bunch of them from ur home.
Step 7- Start enjoying your Erasmus!
Hope the info above is helpful, if any of you have any other questions feel free to aks me !

The Orientation Week
28th of September, after enjoying the very last days of holidays partying quite a lot and an Erasmus trip to Bled It was about time to settle down and go back to the routine, but with a slow path, this is what the Orentation Week really means, first contact with the academic world during the Erasmus. Can't say much about it, pretty boring, presentartion of the academic schedule, process, professors and courses.
We were given a folder with our names and stuff, including time tables and everything to get ready for the new academic season
During the following days we made a tour around the faculty, or Ekonomska Faculteta, to see where the library, computer lab, book shop etc were.
But it's not all bad, specially because I met some of the best people in town, yes, Alfonso, Marga, Lucile, among others, (Rosi don't get jelous coz I met u way before..!!) . I am so glad I have met u , you are making my life and the classes better and funnier!!
I can say that my smthg new of that weekend would be all the fantastic people I got the chance to get to know.

How I met Daniela and Marte
Friday morning, 24th of September.
I am again late, just slept 4 hours coz last night I went with my slovene 'flat' mate and his friends to drink and smoke sisha, fantastic night tough.
Miha and two other Erasmus were waiting for me in the car.
I was kinda tired as u can imagine, so I didn't take much attention to the Erasmus guys in the car, after dealing with my tireness, and introducing myself, they told me their respective names, Daniela (Dani) and Marte, and one minute later of assimilating the names I realized I met them already, but on FB!! haha, through the Erasmus in Ljubljana group.
I don't know, but I found the moment very funny, coz we have talked before but haven't met in person, this is what facebook does nowadays, good job!!
Long story short, after talking for a while, it seemed like we have actually known each other for quite a long time, we arrived to Piran, walked around for a while, and end up swimming in the Adriatic Sea.
After getting out of the water, it was freaking cold back in there!! , we just layed on the grass and chilled out for a couple of hours before going back to Ljubljana.
Thank you Miha for taking us to the beach!! It is memorable!!

The SIMUN 2010 experience
14th of September, Tuesday, first day of the SIMUN 2010, I packed part of my stuff and brought them with me to Hostel Veselova, where I met some of the fantastic organizers of the event. I also met some of the best people and delegations ever of a MUN. I can't really explain how fanstasticas it was the simulation and how much fun did I have.
Partying in KMŠ
As some of you may know what is SIMUN aboutt, we spent 4 days debating about Environmental issues and Global Poverty
SIMUN is not just debate and solve the world, but partying hard, I think I've never partied and had that much fun like this week in my whole life
I still remember the African Night in Metelkova, KMS, Companeros and Bacchus, party almost all night long and sleeping just 4 hours average per night, nevertheless we made it to the faculty of Social Science every day!!
(African Night in Metelkova)Partying in KMŠ
Goodbye party in Bacchus
I just can't be thankful enough for all the people involved organizing the event, you guys did really a fantastic job.
I also have to thank all the fantastic delegates that have participated, you are all amazing, but special mention to the delegation of Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Greece and Germany. I won't ever ever forget u guys!!
I hope to see u all soon!!
The Delegate of Australia misses you all!!

The arrival: Welcome to Ljubljana
Here I continue with the trip to the country that is going to be my home for my Erasmus stay, this is Ljubljana.
I arrived around 2am in the morning to Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport, if I that can be called an aiport (no ofense to anyone), but it was freaking small!!! I rememebr going out of the plane, followed the baggage sign and 2 minutes later it was the luggage pick up area.. and after there was a door that was the exit, and outside of that there were just 4 tables with a bucnh of chairs.. so imagine how small it is.. even Macau's airport is bigger...
Since I arrived pretty late that night, I dind't booked any hostel room to stay for the first night, so my plan was to chill out in the check-in area.. again , a very small one, there were only 3 chairs and 8 check in counters.. at least they had free wi-fi, so I just turned my laptop on and watched few Friends episodes, until 6 in the motning.
After that I just took the airport bus to Ljubljana's train/bus station, around 1 hour trip, et voilà.. Ljubljana. My very first thought was, "what the hell is this and why am I here", it looked a little bit creepy, the fog didn't helped much, coz I couldn't barely see anything beside of a taxi line and the "bus station",( a bus parking slot.. )
Standing there for a while and deciding what the next would be, I took a taxi to the dorms in Rozna Dolina, that I think I got cheated, it cost me 15 euros for a 2 km ride.. but well, I realized later that it wasn't Metro taxi, so it was fine for just once..
Later on I looked for the dormitory office and checked my self in for a room, they gave me 704 room in block 9, so I just took all my baggage and moved into the dorm.
I will save the details of the room and the roommate coz I moved out of that hell 2 weeks later. Just 2 bad things, the f******* chinese roommate was cooking all the time in the room (it smelled like hell all the time), and there were only 3 common showers and sinks for the whole floors (around 20 people..).
Ohh rigth, another thing from my ex-room mate. I rememebr unpacking my stuff when he came in and said, haaam, and I said, haam what? he answerd, I am not surprised that you are Asian.. wtf?! my questions was? was he even expecting an Asian room mate ?! that's an answer I will never know...
Anyway, after settling down I went to do some sigthseeing and deal with the university bureaucracy, I took my student card in Kongresni Trg, I got my Certificate of Attendance filled out, and pretty much that.
After walking for a while, I just came back to my room, settle the internet connection and chilled out for the rest of the day!!
I apologize for not uploading any pictures yet, but I don't have pics netiher of the airport nor the foggy day, nor the old room of mine. I will upload some pics eventually for the following entries.

The Departure, on my way to Ljubljana!
Saturday, 11th of September, this was the day I began my journey to Ljubljana, but I went first to Barcelona.
I didn't really start well the trip, on my way to Atocha to take the AVE to Bcn, I realized that I forgot my passport!! yeahh, this is me, I forget stuff when on the most appropiate moment, gladly I went with sufficient time, so I went back to my home, grabbed the passport and went to the trains station.
But that was the worst part of the day and it wasn't really a big deal.
At 10:30 sharp the traing began it's way to the Ciudad Condal, it took me 2 hours and a half, that I can recall, I was sleeping the whole time, so by the time I woke up, I arrived there.
What can I say about Bcn, unique and amazing city like no other, beautiful and great food. I love Bcn in other words, I wish I had more time to visit it, but I was like the 4th/5th time that I went over there.
Mmmm. what else can I say, well my flight was scheduled for 21:00, but it was delayed 2 hours, so I just hanged out in El Prat till the boarding time.
And to finish I would like to thank the check in guy that let me check my buggage without paying a penalty even I had 2 more kg of the permitted allowance!!

The See U Later...
I still remember the farewell party with my long life friends and those from college like it was yesterday.
It was really hard to say goodbye, since I am not staying here forever it is only a see you after Erasmus, but It was tough though.
I miss the aquerrale moments with my two cousins, Eli and Tati, I really thank I made good friends around here to do so, but it's not like spendind evening in home, drinkin milk with u girls.
I really miss spendind time with you guys, I miss those well spent evenings in the Stur, having a nice cup of Caramel Macchiato with the IB guys, those weekend night in Alex house, talking for hours and hours while eating ice cream and fuet.
But I don't only miss the IB people, also the guys from college, I miss so much playing Mus and eating a well made Patatas Alioli with Miky, Charlie, Julius and the German, now that I think, we don't have to queue to play since you are four now, but, don't forget about me, this is inly temporary.
And last but not least, I miss also those sisha and tapas moments with a meter of Sangria along with Martis, Yuls, Rokis, Draisis, Rusis, Alex ans Sus. And of course the fun in class, without you it's not/won't be the same.
This entry is for all of you that made my life bigger, richer, and better. You are part of my life and part of my growing up joerney.
This is for the every single one of you Tati, Eli, Pablo, Crus, Adri, Yola, Ire, Alex M.A., Clari Mari, Gon, Kelo, Miky, Charlie, Julius, German, Draisis, Yuls, Rokis, Mar, Alex U., Sus, Rusis, Ali, Issi, Lorelaine.
I miss you so much!!
